Sweet, ripe nose with the merest hint of petrol. Sweet and floral taste.  Much more German than Australian, but somehow with that zesty, limey Aussie dryness on the end.

Sweet, floral and inviting. Definitely creamy gooseberry aroma. Bright, tangy, very gooseberry. I’d have put this in Marlborough.

Toasty nose. Savoury, oaky and fits in nicely to the global over-£12 oaked chardonnay niche. Good job.

Creamy nose.  Savoury and not fat at all.  Could almost be Burgundy. Nice. Long. Impressed.

Very catty and nettly nose.  Light, a little floral. Easy drinking.

Was hoping this would be wonderfully aromatic. Sadly not.  Blimey, what a wonderful taste. Yes, I’m a sucker for oaked sauvignon, but this really grabs you. If you can’t quite afford Te Koko, this is lovely.

Light rose aroma. Quite bitter.  Don’t like it.
