Saint-Véran 2010, Domaine Thibert Père et Fils. A "Non filtre", left on the lees cuvee' does throw a small biege sediment, so stand upright before serving.
the 07 and 08 get
QO Stars from me. Currently £12.99 on offer.
The two lady MWs judge the white burgundies absolutely spot on.
JR says of the '10 "
Lightly smoky nose with some real structure to this scented wine. Much more energetic than the old St-Vérans. Tastes as though it will take on interest." .
They are right, of course

. The '08 is done on cellar tracker, The '07 is still up there, and performs well above its price point. I have one of each left.
This dom Thibert wine builds a bit more weight over time, also, to my palate, becomes less savoury and more honeyed with bottle age.
Watch this Wine - If this drops by another 50p or a pound at the end of the Summer - and, You love white burg, you should know what to do.
