I served this on Saturday to quite a lot of guests, for my belated birthday dinner. It was a real hit. Possibly because I marketed it well (would you like sherry, New Zealand Sauvignon or a very lovely Italian white).. If you're making up a Majestic order, it's def worth including. I think I got a discount by buying more than 2.

Rather a lovely, heady, floral smell, if you let it warm up in the glass. Lovely fresh acidity compared with the other Italian whites. Mouth watering and attractive.

Thanks for re-affirming that Mel, I'll let a few of my friends know.

I'm drinking from stock at the moment. My dear father is not well at all, and I have shelled out heavily for respite care.

A note for Goose, the Crossings 2007 is holding very well, even without chilling striaght from my store, the wine was lovely. A little bit of stalk and skin was evident at the higher temp - but perfectly acceptable
