68% Semillon, 21% Sauvignon, 11% Riesling and unoaked. Attractive lime pith smell - or perhaps lemon? Quite a light and off-dry flavour which is perhaps pineapple. Lunchtime girls' wine and only 11.5% alcohol.

This is a wonderful wine, The taste is pure semillon. More Hunter Valley than Barossa. But, like all semillon wines it needs two years or more to show it's true flavours.

I have two bottles of the 04 tucked away in my glorified broom cupboard of a wine cellar.

Now down to £5.30 (33% off from 7.99) at Waitrose until 21st April.
Stinking cold didn't help with tasting of this. From what I could make out, taste was predominatly semillion with a slighty honied finish (not expected with it being an '07, expected more of a fresh lime and grassy taste). Following day the SB and Rielsing were more dectable and wine seemed morefrsh and a little more crisp.
Very nice and great value, will be getting some more to see what it's like without a bunged up nose.
The Gamekeepers Reserve is also on same offer.
