 100% Chardonnay. Vines are 40 - 45 years old and planted in a 105 hectare vineyard on chalk and clay soils with a south-east facing exposure.
 The grapes were harvested with a combination of hand-picking and machine in Sept 2009. The fruit was pressed and drained and naturally
 clarified before a temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. No oak ageing but full malo. Winemaker Gregoir Pissot. Suitable
 for vegetarians and vegans. Alc 13.0%, TA 3.71g/l, pH 3.31, RS 0.46g/l. Waitrose Wine Direct and 236 branches.IWSC 2011 Bronze Medal Winner.
 
 Quite a savoury nose – not ripely fruity at all. Don’t like the taste.  Rather stale taste.
