Montagny premier cru - Actually, the PC means not very much in Montagny, it is not a proper historically qualified climat as they are in 90% of the Cote d'Or domains.

However, a half decent 2008 Montagny from a small volume grower should be going through a few changes in evo / prime mid palate flavours - nutty bits and pieces, apricot note may be . If there was no length yesterday, there was no noticable length in the beginning !

That Blason '08 MPC was pretty naff at bigger money. So, folks should need to know that not all MPC is past it at 3 years from release.
