More of a nod in the direction of the Loire than the Tapihue Block last year. This is the Aconcagua costa valley, not Casablanca.
This wine is available at various supermarkets, at varying discount offers that (hitherto) ranged from (25% - one third off)
A bit edgy on the '11, a tad indifferent on 1st opening. 2nd Day, the wine is ready and willing. A well made and balanced SB, not too catty, not pithy, not girly. Good passion fruit nose, crisp and linear, the flavour runs correct to the finish, no awkward twist.
In my opinion, Errazuriz have mastered Chilean SB. Buy on offer, for a change from NZ sauvignon blanc, keep till 2013 for best one sitting drinking. For me, nice leftovers on day 3, so a good fridge door aperatif.
