Mas de Cardeline Rosé 2010 £8.99 Provence 60% Grenache, 40% Cinsault Unoaked 14% Pale peachy pink. Like satin pants. Very little aroma. Bone dry with a hint of savoury fruit. Lovely. Baron de Ley Rosado 2011 £6.99 Rioja Baja 100% Tempranillo Unoaked 13.50% Mid-colour and with stylish cream label. Not very strongly pink on the nose. Perhaps a hint of strawberry. The strawberry is stronger on the palate. Fruity and very pleasant. |
