70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot. Grapes are harvested during the first 2 weeks of September from Tenuta Moraia. This estate is situated in the foothills of the hamlet of Gavorrano, which is within the DOC of Montereggio di Massa Marittima – a young denomination that is uniquely located between the Tuscan coast and the rolling hills of Maremma. This wine is aged for 12 months in French barriques and then a further 4 months in bottle. Winemaker ~ Antonella Conti at the Piccini Family winery.
