50% Grenache, 40% Carignan, 10% Syrah. The vines are planted on a chalky limestone soil with average yield of 45hl/ha. Destalked and then traditional fermentation in steel vats. Purple colour. Dark, ripe, plummy smell. Young, simple and fruity. Alc 13.5%, TA 3.73g/l, pH 3.45, RS 1.5g/l. Available from Wine Direct and 164 branches. |
