Also some Syrah and Viognier in the blend - these Ona people seem to like bizarre blends. This one has a smoky and very appealing smell. 14.5% alcohol is pretty warm, but the taste is herbal and delicious. A very interesting wine indeed.

Update... ONA is a range from Anakena (Chile). It includes some blends. They also have a varietal range and a single vinyard range. This mob is gaining a good reputation since starting up in the late 90's |
