I concur with this guy. Tis good. Slatey, green grapey, subtle sweetness and very obviously riesling.

Hello stranger, how's things in the wild west?

The Sains Gavi and Tesco Soave are regulars for me. Will try the riesling.

Got stuck in a 2 hour jam yesterday which amused me for some reason :lol: but pissed off just about everybody else. :twisted:

For me this Riesling is at it's best at about 12c, hint of pear drops when too cold.

I tried some other cheapies. I'm not on a budget but would like to find some pleasant cheapies for the fridge for summer. Mostly for passers by who wander in and stay until you've run out of wine. :roll:

Tesco's Cotes de Gasgogne SB at £5 is water pale and almost unpleasant tasting and the Anjou ( off dry chenin ) is just bland.

There was a biker on the telly who on a Monmouth to Usk run found some original children's books in a layby. I didn't see what they sold for. The valuation was about £200...was it you.

Very pop. biking route. I only go thru Monmouth if I'm headed more N & E. Going to Usk, AberG, Brecon etc. I go via Mynydd Bach and LLangwm.

Much as I hate to agree with our welsh wizard, this is actually quite good.
Teeny bit sweety, but what the hell ? £5 ? Riesling notes without the aviation fuel, quaffable, cheap.
Get more ?? Hell yes, why ever not ??
