Graham's Crusted Port, Bottled ’02, Morrisons £17.99 reduced to £12.99. For the price, this is as close to a very good vintage port as it gets and is better than many VP’s at the lower end. A blend of 2~3 vintage’s fruit, bottled unfiltered and aged for three years before release by the port house. What you get is quite a complex, deeply flavored wine, sweet liquorice, solid tannins and perfect balance. I won’t drone on about the taste, you really need to experience this for yourself, its amazing stuff. If you only treat yourself to one port this Christmas, make it this one. ![]() ![]() |

Graham - That's a bloody good heads-up. I'm 'aving some. I shall creep out after dark and bag a brace. I like youngones as a fireside treat. Good for how long GK ? Similar to VP ? Or shorter, say 10 + a bit. I still have that fonseca 66 and some Royal Oporto 83's buried deep. Weirdly enough, I enjoyed the RO better at 10 rather than 25. excellent to have a port nerd here ![]() Hey ....take all d'em-decorations-down pdq, those blighters will get there before me ! |

Cheers Mr D, those old'uns will surely bring you some enjoyment but there's also plenty to be gained from a good whack of burgeoning, young fruit. Aging? who knows, I never keep them that long. Over on TPF they suggest 5+ years. This has already seen a few years in the barrel followed by 3 years in the bottle, it's out of its infancy and full of beans. Enjoy it for what it is I say. Above has been edited to restore order ![]() |

Does anyone know if the current -25% promo is also available in store? This would take the bottle price down to £9.35, I would invest in a case for this price. |
